Power Shared
The SmartAmp 10 offers two channels, each capable of driving both 70-100V Line and Low Impedance loudspeakers, with a maximum power output of 250W.
What really impresses though is the inclusion of ‘Power Sharing’ – a fantastic feature that allows the SmartAmp 10 to flexibly distribute power between channels depending on the current need.
For example, if Channel 1 was only driving a single 25W speaker, then Channel 2 would be able to make use of the remaining 100W – effectively increasing its available power from 125W to 225W!
This allows for far more flexibility in designing unique systems that meet your unique needs.
Power Saved
The SmartAmp 10 benefits from being both Class-D and ‘Energy Star’ compliant. When not in use, it enters a ‘sleep’ mode to minimise unnecessary energy consumption. When a signal above -47dBu is received, it will then wake and all functions are resumed.
In a time when energy consumption is a huge concern to all, you can be confident that the SmartAmp 10 offers the highest efficiency for the lowest wastage.
Mounting Options
The SmartAmp 10 comes with a set of rackmount ‘ears’ attached, allowing for easy installation in an equipment rack. But this is not the only way that the amplifier can be mounted – Optimal Audio also offer a couple of optional rack kits for alternative positioning.
Rack Kit A – suitable for rack mounting both full and half-racksized units and enables coupling of half-rack-sized units to fit two SmartAmp 10 or 20 into a single rack space.
Rack Kit B – provides rear support to units when mounted in mobile racks and other more demanding situations
Wall Mount – used for mounting any of the SmartAmp range against flat surfaces
