Installation & Testing Guidelines
Pre-Screed System Testing
To ensure correct installation before the screed is laid:
- Perform a hydraulic wet test at 2 bar for 10 minutes, followed by 10 bar for another 10 minutes.
- This process helps identify potential installation issues early and aligns with best plumbing practices.
Pressurisation During Screed Laying & Curing
- As per BS1264-4, the system must remain under a minimum pressure of 6 bar during screed laying and curing.
- Important: The underfloor heating system must not be used to accelerate screed drying.
System Flushing
