Intusonic IntuGrid HMA72 – A 2-Zone Audio Matrix and Router for Flexible Music & Paging Control in Commercial Spaces.
The Intusonic IntuGrid HMA72 is a versatile 2-zone audio matrix and router, designed for multi-zone audio distribution and paging in commercial environments. With five line inputs, two microphone inputs, a front-panel 3.5mm AUX input, and integrated Bluetooth (LINKOUSTIC™ 4.2), this unit allows flexible audio routing to two independent zones. Each zone can be controlled directly from the front panel, via the included IR remote, or using the optional HZE11 remote wall panel, which provides local volume adjustment and input selection.
Flexible Zone Control for Multi-Room Applications
Each output zone can be configured independently, allowing different audio sources and volume levels to be set per zone. This makes the HMA72 ideal for bars, restaurants, fitness studios, and other commercial spaces that require separate control for different areas. The optional HPA41 Paging Station adds further functionality by allowing announcements to be made to one or both zones, complete with a programmable chime generator.
The zonal paging system makes the HMA72 an excellent choice for warehouses and factories, where announcements can be directed to specific areas such as the office or the production floor. This ensures clear communication between different parts of the facility. Similarly, the system is ideal for car showrooms, supermarkets, and retail spaces, where staff can page specific departments or make store-wide announcements as needed.
Advanced Audio Processing & Emergency Features
To cater to different speaker setups, each zone output includes a switchable 100Hz high-pass filter (HPF) with an 18dB/octave slope, ideal for protecting small loudspeakers from excessive low frequencies. Additionally, the emergency input allows for immediate override of all other signals in the event of an evacuation, ensuring important messages are always heard.
