The Firetopper Pro II Universal Fire & Acoustic Speaker Hood is specifically designed to protect ceilings and maintain fire and acoustic integrity when installing 5-9″ in-ceiling speakers.
This updated version builds on the original Firetopper Pro with new features that enhance usability, compatibility, and performance, ensuring compliance with the latest IEE and Building Regulations.

The Firetopper Pro II introduces several key upgrades for improved functionality:
- Wider Opening for Universal Fit: Accommodates a wider range of speaker sizes (5-9″) without the need for trimming, saving time during installation.
- Intumescent Cable Gland: Includes 2 pre-cut cable entry points, simplifying cable management while maintaining fire resistance.
- Fast Fix Pins: Thumb tacks now secure the hood to plasterboard for added stability during installation—no tools required.
- Colourfast Dye Process: Prevents red dye transfer onto hands during handling, ensuring a cleaner installation process.
