Absolute Power
The SmartAmp 30 offers four channels, each capable of driving both 70-100V Line and Low Impedance loudspeakers, with a maximum power output of 250W per channel (so 1000W total).
An important difference to note between the SmartAmp 30 and its smaller cousins (SmartAmp 10 and 20) is that, unlike these models, the SmartAmp 30 does not feature ‘Power Sharing’. However, as it offers 4 x 250W input channels, you’re unlikely to really need this anyway!
Power Saved
The SmartAmp 30 benefits from being both Class-D and ‘Energy Star’ compliant. When not in use, it enters a ‘sleep’ mode to minimise unnecessary energy consumption. When a signal above -47dBu is received, it will then wake and all functions are resumed.
In a time when energy consumption is a huge concern to all, you can be confident that the SmartAmp 30 offers the highest efficiency for the lowest wastage.
Mounting Options
The SmartAmp 30 comes with a set of rackmount ‘ears’ attached, allowing for easy installation in an equipment rack. Where the SmartAmp 10 and 20 can be fitted with optional rack kits to allow for a variety of wall, rack and under-counter mounting, the larger SmartAmp 30 is designed solely around adding to an equipment rack.
