MUXLAB MonoPro XLR – CAT5e and CAT6 Audio Extension Balun
DETAILS
Extend XLR audio over Cat5e/6 cable for distances of up to 1.5km. An ideal alternative to long cable runs on stage or in other demanding environments.
The MuxLab MonoPro is an XLR balun designed specifically to extend standard AES analog or digital XLR audio channels within a professional audio environment. Available with either a male XLR (SKU: 500025) or female XLR connector (SKU: 500026), these baluns enable you to transmit high-quality audio signals over a single Cat5e/6 cable, making them ideal for demanding environments such as rental or staging.
With heavy-duty cable strain relief and locking XLR3 connectors, these baluns are built to withstand the rigors of professional use. They can support active microphones (requiring the ground pin connected at both ends) and can extend stereo signals up to distances of 5,000ft/1.5km or digital audio signals up to a distance of 1,400ft/426m.
The 500025 balun features an XLR3 plug, while the 500026 balun features an XLR3 socket, allowing you to easily connect your audio devices to your audio system. Whether you’re a professional audio engineer, DJ, or musician, the MuxLab MonoProT XLR Baluns are the perfect solution for extending your audio signals over long distances without sacrificing quality or reliability.
