‘Magnificent Magnolia’, Reduction Linocut Print
‘Magnificent Magnolia’ is a celebration of the beauty of magnolia blooms in spring.
The print comprises pale pinks and greens and has been made using the reduction technique, where a single piece of lino is carved, and colours printed in layers from light to dark. As the lino is effectively destroyed in the process, no further copies of this print can be made.
Each print comprises five hand burnished layers onto beautiful handmade paper and is one of a small edition of just 6.
