Knight’s Tale Texture Fabric – GP&J Baker X Kit Kemp

Knight’s Tale is a GP & J Baker Original design. This archival design dates from the late 1920’s and the inspiration was taken from mid 16th century embroidered ‘slip work’ that was used on bed hangings and chairs. Depicting a romantic pastoral scene with leaping deer amongst stylised roses and strawberries on an aged background, Kit’s interpretation of the design has been vibrantly and brightly coloured.

Renowned British fabric and wallpaper house, GP & J Baker and visionary designer, Kit Kemp are excited to announce their first collaboration. This partnership introduces a contemporary collection that seamlessly blends Kit’s signature, eclectic, colourful style with GP & J Baker’s design expertise and rich heritage.

GP & J Baker is renowned as one of the world’s innovators of fabric design producing luxury fabrics, wallpapers and accessories under licence for Mulberry Home.

The company was founded in 1884 by brothers George Percival and James Baker establishing an inheritance full of innovation and drama.
