The Intusonic IntuWorx PAA42+ is a versatile rackmount media player and preamplifier, designed for commercial audio installations where flexible input selection, remote control capabilities, and multiple output zones are required. With Bluetooth streaming (LINKOUSTIC 5.0), FM and DAB+ radio, USB playback, and multiple mic and line inputs, it is ideal for environments such as gyms, fitness studios, bars, restaurants, and retail spaces.
Comprehensive Input Options
The PAA42+ features a 6-input stereo preamplifier with three unbalanced RCA inputs, a balanced FOH input, and a front-panel 3.5mm aux input for quick access. Two balanced microphone inputs with phantom power, high-pass filters, and an adjustable talkover function make it ideal for instructors, presenters, or paging applications. A dedicated priority input allows integration with chime players or paging systems, ensuring important announcements take precedence.
Built-In Media Player & Wireless Streaming
An internal media player provides USB playback, FM/DAB+ radio reception, and Bluetooth connectivity (LINKOUSTIC 5.0), giving users multiple ways to play audio content. The included IR remote control allows convenient operation, while the LCD display ensures easy navigation.
Remote Control & Zone Output Functionality
One of the PAA42+’s standout features is its remote control capability via RS485, compatible with the optional VRE11 wall panel. This enables local volume control, source selection, and an additional aux input—perfect for gyms, fitness studios, and hospitality venues, where direct access to the media player may not be practical.
A dedicated zone output with independent volume control allows routing of a specific input source or mirroring the main output. This is particularly useful for sending audio to secondary areas, such as separate rooms in bars, function spaces, or gym zones requiring different audio sources.
