ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Designer and creative director of several Italian interior brands. After training in Design at the Politecnico of Milan and at Fabrica – the research center of the Benetton group – Margherita Rui becomes creative director in HDG, coordinating a team of creatives among Venice, Milan and New York. In 2009 she founds with Alessandro Rado dogtrot, strategic consulting and creative direction studio, a multidisciplinary reality that works in the fields of communication and design.
ABOUT ICHENDORF MILANO
Ichendorf’s illustrious journey began in the early 20th century in the quaint town of Quadrath-Ichendorf near Cologne. Here, master glaziers crafted exquisite objects using a blend of materials, including silica, to cater to the refined tastes of the era. The hallmark of Ichendorf’s early collections was their intricate ornamentation, which held a dominant presence until the mid-20th century.
In 1990, Ichendorf established its style centre in Milan, transforming the brand into a creative hub where artists and designers converge. This new chapter allowed Ichendorf to delve deep into the essence of materials, blending diverse artistic influences into cohesive, poetic forms.
