Fat Adam’s Rusty Nail Cocktail with Old Chapter Whisky
The Rusty Nail, created in the roaring 20’s, that’s the 1920’s, this long forgotten cocktail is due a re-birth. Created in a bar in Hawaii according to Diffords and certainly made popular in the 50’s at Club 21 before gaining mass appeal in the 1970’s. I’d say that it’s time for a renaissance! The first batch sold out at a winter market and we’re now offering it online. We’ve taken the simple recipe (scotch and Drambuie) and given it the Fat Adam’s special treatment: our very own Old Chapter Whisky, Drambuie, a little bitters and then aged under glass.
