The Citronic CASA 700W 2.1 PA system is great for people looking at a ready-to-go solution with great sound and minimal setup.

The Citronic CASA 700W PA system includes 2x 8″ CASA PA speakers and a subwoofer. Combined, these provide a full range sound perfect for playing music. The subwoofer offers an extended bass response, which can be set to low volumes for a full-bodied sound, or turned up high for some pumping bass.

All speakers and the sub are powered so no amplifier is required, and it includes Bluetooth for easy music playback.

Citronic CASA-8A Speaker

The Citronic CASA-8A is powered via a 200W RMS Class-D amplifier. This makes the speaker very lightweight and therefore easy to transport. Class-D amps also sound great in the low frequencies.

The Citronic CASA-8A also features built-in DSP profiles. These profiles can alter the sound of the speaker to suit different applications by adjusting the EQ, compression, and other factors.

The presets on the CASA-8A are: Normal, DJ, Voice, Live, Flat. You can select these based on what the speaker is being used for, and it’ll adjust the sound to best suit.

Build & Features

The Citronic CASA-8A is constructed from a durable moulded plastic and has a metal front grille.

It has Bluetooth built-in for easy phone paring, as well as a USB & SD card input. This can be used at the same time as the microphone – perfect for live performers. 

There is a 35mm pole socket at the bottom for a connection to a PA stand, however, there are also rubber feet which allow it to simply be placed on a surface.

Inputs & Outputs

The CASA-8A has 2x Mic/Line inputs (1x XLR/1/4″ Combi & 1x 1/4″ Jack), and an RCA AUX input. Each channel has it’s own volume control.

There is a balacned XLR mix output too which can be used to connect to another speaker or amplifier.

Sound Quality

The Citronic CASA Subwoofers are powered via class-D amplification. This helps keep the sub lightweight and compact, while providing a smooth & distortion-free low end – something class-D amplification excels at.

There is an adjustable crossover which will cut out the unwanted high frequencies, resulting in a clean signal to again reduce distortion and provide the best sound quality possible.

Build & Features

The Citronic CASA Subwoofers are built to last. They are constructed of hard-wearing 15mm MDF and coasted in a textured paint finish, which should offer some resistance to unwanted spills – ideal in a bar scenario!

The front grille is made from steel and not only adds to the solid construction but improves the sound quality too.

There is a 35mm pole mount socket on top for connecting a PA speaker, and two handles for easy transportation. 

Inputs & Outputs

On the rear of the CASA Subwoofers are 2x balanced XLR/1/4″ Jack Combi line inputs, and 2x balanced XLR outputs.

There is a phase switch and master volume control, as well as an XLR link connection to carry the signal to additional speakers.
