It doesn’t matter where you put this arc floor lamp – by your dining table, couch, above a meeting table, wherever – Big Lebow will bend over forwards like the quirky streetlamp that it is. With Big Lebow, Fatboy is taking indoor lighting to the next level – 2.34 meters high, to be exact. The powerful arc of this light, like its heavy foot, is made of powder-coated steel. The soft light generated by its LED lights is reflected by adjustable aluminum caps. They seem to float, giving the impression that the caps are rising along the arc. Beautiful, but functional too. With the lowest lamp you can read your newspaper, while the others provide additional atmosphere.

Big Lebow has been designed to brighten up your life, for many years. This dimmable arc light is sleek, strong and thoroughly thought through, in every detail. The switch, for example, looks like a quiz button. Press it to turn the arc floor lamp on or off; turn it to tone it down. Want to make even more impact, in the office for example? Link two Big Lebows together and create an arc that’s 3.5 meters wide!

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

We developed Big Lebow with Jos Kranen en Johannes Gille, two Dutch designers who are constantly looking for the next design classic. Like Fatboy, they love developing archetypical, powerful designs that are rooted in the heart of a product. “A chance meeting outside, under a streetlamp, is doubly satisfying. It’s spontaneous and thus not contrived and we wanted to bring that same sensation inside. The way we see it, Big Lebow is typical Kranen/Gille – and typical Fatboy.”

In normal use there is a 24 month warranty on all our Fatboy products. We resolve production errors and are able to help you if you have a legitimate complaint that your product does not last as long as you might expect.
