A majestic black and white horse, a symbol of strength, courage and freedom, high-steps across a plateau of exotic flora, followed by darting swallows, which represent love, devotion and luck. Set against a striking lilac-tinged sky – the shade associated with the Crown Chakra, the energy centre with a connection to spirituality and enlightenment – this a gentle, soothing design that reinforces the importance of nature and the joy of having a connection with it.

In 2004 freelance fashion designer Wendy Morrison accepted a commission to design a rug collection. It was a turning point; the perfect match for her love of colour and pattern, combined with storytelling. Authentic rug-making demands incredible skill, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
